La Ci Darem La Mano

LÃ ci darem la mano is a duet for the characters Don Giovanni and Zerlina in Mozart's 1787 opera Don Giovanni. Giovanni tries to seduce Zerlina, but she is torn between his advances and her fidelity to her beloved Masetto. Eventually, after endless persuasion, Zerlina succumbs to Giovanni's charm.

Adar Mân y Mynydd

Adar Mân y Mynydd is a traditional Welsh folk song which contains elements of love, nostalgia and grief.
It tells the story of the narrator, who is in love with a girl named Gwen. She lives far away from him, and so the narrator calls on small mountain birds to send his messages of love to Gwen. She asks the messenger birds to return and tell her beloved that she is gravely unwell and dying.

Barcarolle

A barcarolle is a traditional folk song sung by Venetian gondoliers. This particular piece composed in the style of a traditional barcarolle is a duet from The Tales of Hoffmann, Jacques Offenbach's final opera in 1881. The piece is officially titled Belle nuit, ô nuit d'amour, though it is much less commonly referred to by this title! The text, concerning the beauty of the night and of love, is by French poet, writer, and opera librettist, Jules Barbier. Lisa & Tesni will be performing a Welsh translation of the text.

Summertime
Jacob & Tesni
Summertime is an aria composed by George Gershwin for the 1935 opera Porgy and Bess. Having been covered by artists such as Miles Davies, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole, and many others, the piece can now also be considered a Jazz Standard in its own right! The performance of Summertime presented by Jacob and Tesni has been arranged jointly by the pair for voice and bass guitar.
